Start with the network and asset

Choose the network where your asset currently lives and the network where you want to use it. Then select the exact token and amount. Avoid choosing a route solely because two networks support similarly named tokens.

Review the live route

Review the route before approving anything. Check estimated received amount, network fees, route fees, minimums, price impact where applicable, and the number of transactions you will sign.

Complete the transfer carefully

After the source transaction is submitted, allow the bridge or routing provider to complete its required steps. Do not resend the transfer simply because the destination balance has not appeared immediately.

Practical takeaway

Keep the transaction hash and verify the destination wallet on the correct network. If a transfer is pending, use the provider's status information and blockchain explorers rather than signing unrelated transactions.
